From the time that several of the Jones daughters were tiny girls, numbers fascinated them. Writing and calculating numbers was considered an activity of choice. From before bed, mental-math games to enthusiastic conversations, both my parents passed on a great appreciation for God's design and order in the area of numbers. However, it wasn't until after I had finished my high-school math studies, that my parents introduced me to Mathematics: Is God Silent? In this excellent book, the author articulates many details of a distinctively Christian worldview, education and mathematics, including the "hidden" patterns of equations and sequences.
